Aggregation Update

Orange Township sought clarification regarding the email from AEP some residents received today. Please see the response below:

Orange Township Residents:

We are aware of a processing error that may cause you to receive multiple letters from AEP regarding your account being switched to or from Archer Energy. We have been in contact with AEP Ohio regarding the issue and you can rest assured that your account is enrolled with us, and you will be paying the rate negotiated by Orange Township. There is nothing further you need to do. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to Archer Energy at 844-795-7491.

Broadband Survey

The Delaware County Commissioner’s want your help with the state of broadband/internet services. They have launched a survey to help gather information. It takes about 3-5 minutes to complete and should be taken using the internet connection and device that one normally uses (like a laptop, tablet or smartphone). The survey includes taking a “speed test” of one’s connection. When you get to that part, it opens up a new tab where you just need to click on the word “Go” and let it run. When the speed test is completed, it will generate two numbers for you (a download and an upload speed). You’ll go back to the survey tab and enter those numbers into the boxes where prompted. Find the survey here!
