When is Trick-or-Treat in Orange Township?
Last year, the Orange Township Board of Trustees voted to establish October 31 as the permanent date for Trick-or-Treat in Orange Township. That means no more wondering what night it will be each year — Trick-or-Treat will always be on Halloween! 🎃
So, mark your calendars:

We promise we won’t make you start decorating for Halloween just yet… but we wanted to give you plenty of time to stock up on candy! 😉🍫🎃

Glen Oak Trail Closing for Construction

The trail adjacent to Summersweet Circle, Sunflower Street, and Scarlet Avenue will be closed beginning this Friday, September 4th. Construction will last approximately 8 weeks, this is dependent on weather. Due to the location of the trail construction, there is no detour.

Plumb Road Closed 8/31 – 9/2
Plumb Road will be closed from Africa Road to 3 Bs and K Road beginning August 31st through September 2nd. Please see the attached notice from the Delaware County Engineer’s Office.
Rumpke Senior Discount
Did you know Rumpke offers a 10% discount to customers age 62 and older? ♻️
Eligible residents can call Rumpke Customer Service at 1-800-828-8171 to set up the senior citizen rate and start saving!
Offices Closed – Labor Day
The Orange Township offices will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026 in honor of Labor Day. The offices will reopen on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

Aquatic Center School Hours
A reminder that school hours begin THURSDAY!
With Olentangy Schools heading back to class, weekday hours at the North Orange Aquatic Center will shift to 3–7pm. Weekend hours will remain 11am – 8pm.
And don’t forget—the last day of the season is Labor Day, September 7! Hours that day will be 11am – 7pm.
Make the most of these last few weeks of summer and come soak up the sun with us!

Storm Debris Reminder
Storm Cleanup Reminder
The storm this morning left plenty of limbs and branches scattered around Orange Township. As you clean up your yard, don’t forget that Rumpke offers yard waste collection on your regular trash collection days.
For curbside collection:
Small branches and limbs should be cut to less than 6 feet in length and bundled with string or twine.
Please do not put yard waste in your Rumpke recycling cart.
Be sure to stay weather aware today as more storms are expected to roll in.

Night Swim Rescheduled!
We were just as disappointed as everyone else to have to cancel Friday’s Night Swim due to poor air quality, but the safety of our guests will always come first. Thank you for your understanding!

Night Swim is back!
Join us on Thursday, July 23, from 8:00-10:00 p.m. for a festive Christmas in July themed evening at the pool!
The first guests will also receive a FREE swag bag courtesy of Nationwide Children’s Lewis Center Close To Home with Emergency Department while supplies last, so be sure to arrive early!
