Rope Rescue Operations Training
Over the last four days, our crews had the chance to work alongside the team at Crash Course Village in their Rope Rescue Operations training — and we can’t thank them enough.
The realistic scenarios and hands-on guidance not only sharpened our skills, but reminded us why training like this matters. We’re grateful for their time, knowledge, and commitment to helping firefighters be at their best.

Fiber Concerns
We have heard from some residents who have reached out to share their concerns regarding ongoing fiber installation work. These are not Orange Township or Delaware County projects, and the work is being performed on private property, outside of any public right-of-way, where the Township does not have jurisdiction. ![]()
We understand and empathize with the frustration caused by damage to yards and landscaping; it’s happening in Trustee’s yards as well.
We encourage any residents with questions or concerns to contact the appropriate representative at:
AEP – (800) 672-2231
AT&T – (800) 288-2020
Frontier – (800) 921-2101
AltaFiber – (513) 565-9890
Fire Department Capstone Completed!
A big shout-out to three of our probationary firefighters who completed their capstone event this past weekend.
Firefighters Brandon Hewitt, Timothy Rushley, and Hunter Terry were evaluated on the skills they have developed over the past 10 months through a physically demanding course. We are proud to share that all three successfully passed and have earned their Orange Township fire shields.![]()
A special thank you goes to the Delaware Area Career Center for providing access to their training facility and to the Berlin Township Fire Department – Delaware County, Ohio for their support and assistance throughout the evaluation process.
