The Orange Township Board of Trustees requires the registration and regulation of transient vendors or “door-to-door” sales in the Township (Res.18-083). They must abide by regulations, including prohibited soliciation to residents on the Do Not Knock List or who have a sign on their property prohibiting solicitation. If a resident does not want to be solicited to, they can add their name to the Do Not Knock list which is provided to every transient vendor operating in the Township.
