Communities can request the closing a street for a block party or neighborhood gathering. To ensure the safety and health of our community, Orange Township requires communities to file for a block party application and submit an application fee.

Application Process

The application will be reviewed by the Zoning Department, Roads Department, and Fire Department. Please allow 7 to 14 business days for all departments to review your application. Therefore, we encourage you to apply early. After receiving the application and fee ($25), official road closure barricades will be dropped off the day prior to the party and picked up the first weekday following the party. Please be advised, closing a road without permission will be addressed by the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office.
