North Orange Park Shelter

The North Orange Park Shelter was completed in the fall of 2005. The facility was awarded a "Superior" category award by the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association 2005 Annual Awards of Excellence Program for outstanding construction projects. It is located at 7560 Gooding Blvd. Delaware, OH 43015 in the center of the park adjacent to the playground. It can be rented by Orange Township residents ONLY; for family gatherings and parties. The maximum capacity is 100 people. There is a three hour minimum rental time at $10.00 per hour, and a $25.00 Deposit . All money is due at the time of reservation. Reservations for the Shelter are taken from May through October.  Applications must be submitted to the Township Administrator for formal approval at least thirty days in advance of the proposed date of use. Leave the date and time frame desired at 740-548-5430 ext. 250. The shelter can be used by the general public on a "first come first serve" basis if it is not being rented. There are two enclosed bulletin boards, one in the shelter and the other in the parking lot adjacent to the shelter. They display the days and times it will be rented for the coming week. The fireplace can be used during the cooler months of the year to expand the use of the facility.  Wood is not provided by the Township and please ensure that the fire is completely extinguished prior to leaving the facilities.
