TRAINING
Firefighting
All Orange Township firefighters are State of Ohio Firefighter Level II certified. Each firefighter is required to maintain their certification by participating in fifty-four hours of continuing education every three years.
Orange Township utilizes a range of monthly training opportunities including Columbus State Community College, Cleveland State University, Ohio Fire Academy, various seminars as well as other self training techniques.
Rescue
Because Orange Township Fire Department operates a heavy rescue, firefighters operating this piece of equipment are rescue technicians.
