Orange Township 4th Annual Electronics Recycling Event

Orange Township will hold its 4th Annual Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, April 18th from 10am-12pm in honor of Earth Day.  Over 7Annual Electronics Recycling Event sm5,000 pounds of old, outdated and unwanted electronics have been collected during the last 3 years of the event.  Volunteers will be on hand in the southwest corner of the Home Depot parking lot (8704 Owenfield Drive) to collect your unwanted electronics.  Thank you to our community partners making this year’s event possible: Accurate IT Services, Delaware General Health District, DKMM Solid Waste District and Home Depot.

We will be accepting TV’s, computers, laptops, servers, cell phones, keyboards, mice, computer cables, tables, LCD monitors, printers, UPS & battery backups, phone equipment, lead acid batteries, car batteries, networking equipment, routers, cameras, stereo equipment, power tools, video game systems, cable boxes, and most items that plug in, work on batteries or is a cord or cable.

New this year, we will be accepting holiday string lights that are burned out, broken or working strands being replaced by LED.  

Please note the cost to dispose of a CRT Computer Monitor is $10.00, a Flat Panel TV (LED, LCD or Plasma) is $20.00 and all other TVs (CRT, Rear Projection, DLP, etc) is $50.00.  Exact cash or check accepted only; please make checks payable to Accurate IT Services.

Items NOT accepted include AC Units, Dehumidifiers, Freezers, Refrigerators, Light Bulbs and Alkaline Batteries.
