ORANGE TOWNSHIP ZONING

Zoning is among the powers given to the township by the state legislature. Zoning is the classification and limitation of the use of lands and buildings, and permits the township to regulate the development of territory and the use of land following development. The Zoning Resolution, together with the Comprehensive Plan, establishes a framework for land use activity within the township. The results of these efforts of the township can be seen in the quality and appearance of the residential, commercial and industrial development within our boundaries.

If you would like to receive notification by e-mail of upcoming zoning meeting dates with a brief description please contact Nancy Hensley at nhensley@orangetwp.org
