Biography of Matt Noble
Assistant Fire Chief Matt Noble was born and raised in London,
Ohio. He graduated from London High School in 1988. He later attended
Clark State Community College graduating in 1990 with an Associates
Degree in Business Management and an Information Systems Major.
In the fall of 1992 Matt became a volunteer firefighter for the
City of London – Division of Fire, in August of 1995 he became
a full-time firefighter. Matt was promoted to Lieutenant in June
of 1997 and stepped up to Fire Chief in December of 2002. Matt has
also worked as a part-time firefighter /EMT for Jefferson Township
Fire Department in West Jefferson. He is an adjunct instructor with
the Ohio Fire Academy instructing various subjects for the firefighter
I & II courses as well as Hazardous Materials Awareness and
Operations level courses.
Matt’s professional training includes Firefighter I &
II, Emergency Medical Technician Basic, Hazardous Materials Technician,
Fire Safety Inspector and Fire Instructor I & II certifications
as well as other courses related to management, EMS, hazardous materials
and fire/rescue.
