ABOUT ORANGE TOWNSHIP
Today, township residents are demanding a new type of rural government.
This means that good roads must be built for year around travel,
fire protection must be adequate, zoning and other regulations must
be established to encourage and protect the growing townships throughout
Ohio.
Although township officials fill their offices on a part-time basis,
they are always available, ready to meet their responsibilities
face-to-face, and able to deal with modern problems because of their
intimate knowledge of the community, its needs and its people.
Township government offers more personal service, more attention
to individual needs, and a better understanding of local problems
than any other unit of government. It does this at less cost and
with a minimum of red-tape because it is closest to those it serves
